Im definitely a meat eater and love me my red meat. Went to THE KEG STEAKHOUSE + BAR knowing full well I wanted a steak. For appetizer I ordered the ROASTED ROMA TOMATOES , main dish I got the TOP SIRLOIN STEAK with TWICE BAKED POTATO and for dessert I got a slice of BILLY MINER PIE. The ROASTED ROMA TOMATOES were very fresh and juicy. The cheese on them was perfect and not too salty. They had the perfect amount of cheese on them. The sauce that came with them was garlic flavoured and delicious. The little toasts were cute and tasty as well. The medium well 8oz TOP SIRLOIN STEAK was absolutely delicious but tough to chew. My jaw had a bit of a hard time doing its job. The TWICE BAKED POTATO was basically a delicious buttery, cheesy and full of bacon bits mashed potato in a crispy potato skin. BILLY MINER PIE is basically a big slice of mocha ice cream with a thin chocolate crumble crust base, covered with almond slices and drizzled with chocolate and caramel sauces. The mocha coffee flavour was definitely present and the sweetness was on the high side. I wish it was bit lower in sweetness and a tad bit stronger mocha flavour. The chocolate base kinda tasted like OREO cookies, but they didn’t say anything about OREO at all in the description.
